Kate found Yoga after a recurring chronic back and neck pain in her twenties during her corporate sales career. Being young and relatively fit and healthy she took her health for granted, sitting working and living a sedentary, fast paced and demanding lifestyle. She also realised that after all these years she wasn’t breathing correctly. Shallow breathing causes stress and anxiety and it was doing just that. Learning to breathe again reduced her tension headaches, stress levels and panic attacks. Yoga ultimately made her feel human again and giving her a new lease of life. Kate has worked in sales for over twelve years primarily working for a health and wellbeing company for over ten years. Kate teaches vinyasa yoga, power yoga, chair yoga and restorative slow flow classes. Her classes are for all levels. She also offers corporate classes, one to ones, and six week beginner courses (available face to face or online) . Kate has been regularly practising yoga since 2014, having completed her 200 hours teacher training in January 2020 from Yoga London. She’s also qualified in Yoga Nidra or Yoga Sleep (180 hours with The Yoga Nidra), Meditation (Diploma with Distinction SNHS), Mindfulness and laughing Yoga instructor.
